konceppt Registered User Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 2	mk5 power steering pump? Hi, i just bought a mk5 fiesta 1.8td (lynx) It makes a squealing noise all the time which i thought may have been a belt slipping but its more of a whirring sound.I had a look today and found the noise was coming from the power steering pump pulley.It sounds like a dry bearing noise so i was wondering if it means the pump is knackered? Is there a bearing inside which is likely to fail? I do not think its the belt making the noise. Thanks
