Mondeo 2.0l 16v engine put into a mk3 fiesta - is this a difficult lengthy job?

Please can anyone help... I own a Fiesta mk3 XR2i (H-reg) and am thinking of replacing the engine with a newer Mondeo 2.0l 16v engine (i.e 1993 onwards with 134bhp). Basically I need to know if this is a worthwhile thing to do - i.e will the power gains be very noticable, considering the weight of the engine will be increasing with the 2 litre lump, and what methods are available to tune the engine to give more torque & bhp (plus approx cost for the methods and power increase with each). And finally, is this engine conversion an easy one?...any problems with ECU, wire looming, gear box etc? I know very little about engines to be honest so will be getting a local garage to do this... IF the job is a straight forward swap. Or if anyone knows of a specialist company that will do the engine swap AND tune it then please let me know.
