i have a pipercross on me 1.2 duratec and it dont sound like other fiestas wid pipercrosses they sound like scobbys lol, any ideas and why mine aint soundin the same?? thanks

Im no geek but its probably because there are 2 different types of induction kit short ram, and cold air intake, you want short ram for growling sound.

I have installed a pipecross on my mk5 1.6 and it sounds nice. Can anyone tell me how important the rubber pipe running from the base of the induction kit to the engine bay is? Its not the main thick pipe but the one at the base about 1/2 inch 2.5cm wide...
