Can any one tell me how to remove the lft rear tail light so that i can change a break light?

The backing plate in which the sbulbs reside should just clip out from inside the hatch - it should be described in your car's handbook, very simple 5 minutes, takes longer to go and buy the new bulb!.

I have read the manual and undone the 2 screws but some thing seems still to be attached. It looks like my owners book is for the 2005 model and not the 2004. Is the proceedure different for the 2 models? can you please advise.

Since your car is so new, might be easiest to drop into your local Ford dealer, who most likely would show you how to remove the bulb. I assumed it was a Ka, if yours is a Fiesta the fitting might be a little different.
