Hey all,

has anybody ever had any experience of replacing the lower rear wishbone bushes? I have an advisory on my MOT and so am looking to replace them shortly. I have a new set of standard ford bushes, a haynes manual and some WD40.........just wondering whether its simple enought or whether theres things to be wary of.

hi, what car is it?

i did the rear beam bushes on my '99 fiesta, replaced with some powerflex ones as i got a good deal on them. they were dead easy to fit the new ones, just pushed in, the old ones are a bit harder to get out. drill the old rubber out the centre, cut into the out sleeve with a hacksaw,taking care not to go into the arm, then use a punch, a hammer, and wd40 to collapse the sleeve in on itself and push it out.
