Just found this Forum and I have a 2003 Fiesta 1.4TDCi bought new. Never had anything like the fuel economy quoted in the manual - about 400 miles for a full tank. I traded in a corsa 1.7D which was a lot more cumbersome but gave me at least an extra 100 miles over the fiesta for the same amount of fuel. I won't be having another Ford until they sort this out.

Re: Service manual 1.4TDCi

Hi New entry as well,

Just purchased a 2002 52 1.4TDCI 5Dr. from all my research seems like a good buy, hopefully? (local branch of a national car supermarket ex lease company) unfortunately no handbook. Going back to chase them but anyone any idea of where I can obtain/download a copy, if no joy from the garage.

With it being a 2002 on: nothing on ebay or any other site I could find (have seen service manuals and cds for all fiesta's upto 2002 version)

Will let you know how the consumption goes!

Thanks

ALH
