Hi all, I am new in this forum. Just want to ask you a technical question. Having used to drive auto I forgot to depressed the clutch when I was about to shift my Fiesta manual gear to reverse. Of course I heard a grinding noise but as soon as I heard the noise I realized my mistake. The gear wasn't shifted and everything works normal. My question is: what's the chance I have done harm to my gearbox? Thanks.

If this is the 1st tiem it's happened them you should be ok. It happens to the best of us "If you carn't find it grind it" saying.

As long as the gears engange now your ok?

Like anything, do it to much and you will damage the gears, once is a warning.
