JI-Owon Registered User Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Australia Posts: 21	Small metal clip on fan Has anyone noticed a small metal clip attached to the middle of one of the fan blades of the radiator fan? I'm wondering what it is for - is there a sensor somewhere picking up rpm or something? OR am I the only one who has a metal clip on the fan. It's about as big as your finger nail on your pinky. It is easily removed and easy to put back on - i won't be removing it just want to find out what it is. I'll also ask the mechanic at the dealership when I take it in for the 3000km checkup in just over a month from now.
