Hi

I am pretty new to these forums but i am hoping someone might be able to give me some advice.
I bought my 54 plate fiesta zetec back in April this year and its been a great car apart from one thing....
When i am driving around or over 70mph my fiesta starts to make a squealing noise sometimes constant and sometimes on /off. I have tried all the heaters on and off and the wind screen wipers, i even went as far as taping up the windscreen to see if it was that leaking small amounts of air but its still there. Someone suggested noise coming through the fans but i just dont know but it does seem like an air related noise even when lorry's go past it gives a little noise but i doubt its engine related.
It is still under warranty and have taken it to my local dealer where the technician said he had no idea what it could be and that its unlikely they would find the cause as it could just be a vibration from a part of the car!!!!!
Has anyone experience this problem?

hi, does it happen when you stear, or just all the time?

Could be the fan or timing belt is not tight enough - this usually shows up at higher speed and especially in damp conditions ?

it could be a simple thing like ur brake pads..... is it like a metal on metal squeal??????
