Yesterday i drove my brothers 200sx. and now that ive experience forced induction i want it too.
Im seriously considering supercharging my new mk6 fiesta with the use of a supercharger from the 1.6 twin cam 4-AGZE corolla engine.
Can the standard engine management deal with a low boost supercharger kit.... around 5psi and intercooled. Could standard compression be retained?
I cant stress enough that i dont want to loose any reliability what so ever.
If anybody knows anything about doing this sort of work please contribute a few words

cuz if i do this i would like to do it right..

It would require some major work. There is almost no space to mount the supercharger so you would need to move many items (water tanks etc as they cover the pullies). You would need to change pistons as the current 11 compression ratio is way too high for running force induction and would need head work again to lower compression.
Finally you would need a new ECU.

If you want extra power getting a Focus st170 engine would probably be the better option.

How much would a st170 motor set me back?
thats the only thing that pisses me off bout the fiesta... tiny engine bay!!!

took me like an hour to change my bulbs in headlights.would an st170 motor fit in easily?

In not sure about how much a st170 motor is. People in the Uk say they do fit but im yet to see one.

Changing the ligh bulbs look me around 10 minutes. wasn't hard at all.

Actully I had an enquiry.. how to change the headlights, and since the dealer gave me a focus manual instead of fiesta one.. what light bulbs do mk6 take?

H4 halogen for main lights.

ehm what bulb wattage is adequate? 90/100 ???????

55/60.

I wouldn't get 90/100 as they will most lickly melt the cover.
