hello
I have a 1.3 fiesta - 1998 . The temperature guage does not seem to work. I have only had the car for 3 days.

where is it on the engine?

will it be a sensor prob?

if i find the cable I can short it out to see if the indicator works

any suggestions??

It could be a faulty sensor, faulty gauge, or a loose or broken wire. Does the gauge read all the way cold or all the way hot? I'm not sure but.... I think if you find the wire to the sensor, and ground it, the gauge should move to hot. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
