timing chain tension/ renewal - Ford Forums

Hi all

My wife has a bog basic petrol OHC 1.2 KA reg'd Dec 1999.with 60k on the clock.

As far as i am aware the timing chain has never been inspected. Will it need inspecting or renewing at set intervals.

I believe that pluracy is going around at the moment. A special one it only lasts a week.
