Very high and unstable RPM at 1 week old Fiesta at neutral
Good evening everyone.
I have one week old Ford Fiesta, I done 700 km only. Since it's new, it has very unstable RPM after the engine starts to be hot (after 5 - 10 km).
When the engine is cool, it has about 800 to 1000 RPM. After the engine starts to be hot, it has 1000 to 2000 RPM! Sometimes, I stand on the crossroad and the rotates are going slowly from 1500 to 2000 RPM and then quickly back to 1500.
I'm so sad, because this car is absolutely new, I was buying new car to don;t have such an stupid problems. Ouch.
I was at local official Ford service today. They tested it and they told me, they dodn't find anything wrong!!! They also told me, that they are in contact with Ford central (maybe the US one?) and if they'll find out something, they will let me know.
They really made me angry. I absolutely can't believe that they don't know what to do. Or, if they don't, I was hoping they will change my engine, when the car is absolutely new, but in this "banana" republic (Slovak republic) nothing like this will ever happen.
Please, does anyone have any idea, what should be the problem? Does someone met the same problem? Should this be truth that they don't know? How can someone in US find out the problem, if he don't have my car?
Thanks in advance for any response.
