Re: Will the Focus 17" 7 spoke rims Fit.

I know I'm a bit late, but I thought I might add my 2c.

There's bugger-all rims for the Fiesta in Australia because the 4x108 pattern is not as common as 4x100 or 4x114.3 and most 4/8 hole wheels are made to suit these fitments. I've been shopping around for some and all I could find was one CSA (Pursuit) and two Advanti designs (Raptor 5 and Flash). I'm not sure who does OZ wheels these days because they change importers on almost monthly basis, but they'd probably do quite a few styles being an European brand. Apparently BSA does a few designs, but I didn't even try them due to quality concerns. Speedy can do the Hyperfang 2 and Sirocco 2 as well! BTW, this is in 15" only. I didn't check 16s or 17s because I only want to replace the stocky steelies and keep the tyres.

As people have said, I can't see why Focus rims should not fit on the Fiesta because they have the same stud pattern and should have the same offset of 52.5.

Tyre-wise, you could legally fit 18s to it only if you could find 205/35R18 tyres. If you go to a 215/35R18 you COULD be defected because the tyres' overall diameter is 25.8mm larger than the largest available wheel and tyre combo available on that car, which is 195/45R16. The maximum is 25mm. I know the diff. is 0.8mm so that's why I'm saying you COULD be defected.

As for 17s, you can run 205/40R17 and 215/40R17 tyres fine, but 205/45R17s are about 35mm bigger than a 195/45R16 so that'd be a straight out defect as soon as a cop or RTA pick it up.

And 19s on a fiesta? Come on, even 18s are pushing it. The unsprung weight would skyrocket unless you get a lightweight wheel (such as Enkei - 19" at under 10kg!!!) but we're talking big bucks here, not your $3000 tyre and wheel package.

Sorry for the rant and I hope this helps in some way.

Couldn't you just get the speedo re-calibrated and then get an engineering certificate if you got wheels that where too large?

Wow that offset grew in past months I've been away! What are you feeding it?

Some places can actually get rims without the holes and charge you an amount to have them drilled. The 18's on dunts fiesta are mine and just asked the guys to drill them to 4 by 108.

Well, factory offset on Fiesta steelies is 52.5 and it's been that since the Fiesta went on sale, so I don't know how did it grow.

As for blank wheels, yeah, nothing easier. Are your 18s 7" wide or 7.5"? Also, what offset are you running. I'm just doing a bit of research to see if 7" wide is going to fit with an offset of less than 45.
