I promised a few people around here that I would make a GTHO for them using Adobe Photoshop, well that proved a little more difficult than first expected. I couldn't find the right photo angle of a GT but found a perfect XR8, so that became my donor car. I was going to make stripes on it but had trouble forcing Phantom to morph into Blueprint then came the challenge of adding white stripes as well. So it was either no stripes or Phantom with some screwed up stripe colour combination. I opted for the first alternative. Well enough of the chin wagging, here is my AWD XR8, or what an AWD XR8 would look like anyway. There is a way to install an AWD drivetrain and chassis into a BOSS powered Falcon. Increase the track. Increasing the track brings the wheels out more and leaves extra room around the BOSS for an AWD drivetrain. Its been engineered and its possible. So, using these facts, I created an AWD XR8... and this is possibly exactly what it could look like. I've increased the track and to hide the increase, added flared wheel arches. To give it a more agressive stance, I also made the rear tyres wider and made the rims about 2" bigger as well. The result is before your eyes. I also compiled some custom side skirts and front air dam lip, the lip isn't my most proud accomplishment... but it still looks the goods. So there ya have it, an AWD Falcon, with the mechanical changes implemented it will look awesome. With a stance to kill. I like it. So does my dad. And all my crazy Ford mates. Oh, what about you?
