Howd'y guys,

My name is Jason Leggo, and I am part of a Simulator group who are developing a Modification for the SIM Nascar Racing 2003.

We have a Falcon Carshape we are using ATM, but we are not happy with the outcome.

A few months ago I contacted a guy from the Ford Forums who was making Falcon 3DO's of an awesome standard, I did contact him about the oppurtunity, but I have lost all the details. If anyone knows of this guy, or has any interest and knowledge of these things, I am very interested in hearing from them.

Howd'y,

Yes, recently I started looking into importing SS 98-01 Camaro.

Locally in the US you can pick these up for around 13-15KUS, but once again, the import duty on private imports blows the cost out by 75%, not including Shipping and Compliance.

Hence this car is fetching 60-70K here, which is far to much too pay..... the only way around this is to purchase the car in the US, and approach an Aussie Importer, ( who get better import duty % than Privateers ) and give them the car to compliance, ship, and AUS Duty. But still this works out around $40K AUS, and you still have a LHD car.

Sad to say, the Aus Govt. want their slice... and thats the big hurdle....

hope this fills in a picture, but these things are changin regularly, and it is worth keeping up Govt changes to this situation....
