had to do these drawing things for uni, and one of them could be done on computer, so i got a photo i took of the fairmont and outlined it in Flash and coloured it in, then i added a cut-out effect to the original photo in photoshop and placed the Flash version of the fairmont over the top and added some shading. Was kinda in a hurry but I'm pretty sure i got the colour close enough to citric acid without having to find a picture, lol. the quality on the lights is kind of random cos i had to get it under 145kb to attach it

dunno about paint shop pro 8, xf, havent used any of the paint shop pro programs, but Fireworks could do it too, with the pen tool (what i used in flash) where you click and hold etc to get the arcs/contours, and is probably more suited to it actually, but I only have flash, so flash it was. folio should do alright, some contraversy was sparked when someone made a derogitory comment regarding ford (light hearted joke) and then this girl was like 'shut the f**k up, ford rules!' lol, good to see there are some blue blooded ppl at uni i didnt know about

i wont post the pic because its quite large....

i dont really know what process you go through, but if you could just neaten up the license plate when you do it that'd be great....this pic is old and i never covered the plate properly (looks poor)

thanks champ :hy:

haha, ford manga, thatd be pretty interesting. and yeah pursuitchick, i was too busy with my half-a-million uni assignments which equated to about 80% of the terms mark and were all due in the last week unfortunately. heres something ive been workin on over the last few days though, i used one of genebaby's studio pics of his xr8 as the base and made a basic colourator thing:

http://www.freewebs.com/ford-cruise-team/BAXR8-Colourator.swf

(copy and paste the above link into the address bar as freewebs doesnt allow remote-linking) hopefully the link works. the best part about flash is that the image is a vector drawing so you can resize it as much as you want and it wont lose quality, try it :p

>> for some mysterious reason having 'Automatically parse links in text' deselected still results in the address being made a link, so yeah, clicking on it wont work, gotta do the copy paste job

made a cartoon in paint a while back (http://www.fordforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=23214) but yeah, with paint, so gettin the car to resemble its real life counterpart wasnt easy but it turned out okay in the end. you should be able to pick the story/inspiration
