Re: Monaro CV8 (Dialup Warning)

Looks good, removing the front ugly badge and the fog's/side indercators cleans up the coupe.
The CV8 is at the wrong angle compared to the background, needs to be rotated CW and then streched at the rear with the skew transform tool. Also the front tyre should have been moved inwards a bit and darken a little.

lol ST170ish.

Not bad for a mnro, but would probably look better it it was drifting instead . . .

good job anyway.

oh and btw, why did you write 'dial-up warning'? Both pics equal less than 100kb, which isn't that big. Oh well . . .

Re: Monaro CV8 (Dialup Warning)

I spose i should have added that i did this when i had about half an hour to kill, so it couldn't have taken more 25mins from conception to it's dodgy 'completion'. lol

Thanks for all the comments, though guys!

It started out as tyre smoke, but i wanted to give the whole image a semi-cartoonish feel, and when i did, i couldn't be bothered masking off the smoke, so it became oil smoke. lol

There was actualy a little more done to the car if you look close. The headlights were made to look a little meaner, and the front bumper air dam was made bigger as well.

I realised about the angle issue as well, but it's actually quite an awkward angle to get right. When it didn't happen in about 2 minutes, i gave up. lol

I'm not exactly sure what the offical minimum size is for a 'dial-up warning'. Can someone tell me?

I've always just figured that anything over 100kb (and i figured these pics were close enough. ) was a nicely rounded number to constitute a dial-up warning. lol

Thanks again for all the comments, guys. Next time I'm bored I'll go through and implement all of your suggestions.

Cheers,
Dave
