Problem with saving the images I want.

I got a pic with 700x400 dimension.
Within the pic there are another 3 layers of pics (50x50) smaller than the initial pic and each of these pic have different coordinate.

At the moment, I ONLY want to save one of the small pics, named spic1. So, other pics visibility are taken off (initial and the other small pic) and I chose Save As png file because I only want that spic1 visible and the rest off.

Photoshop helps me to save the spic1 as png file but the actual canvas size is still 700x400.

How do I get rid of that extra dimension and save the pic, same size as it was (50x50) while on 700x400 dimension? Help me please.


It there any other way besides making a new document on canvass size wanted, copy and paste the small pic into it?

i'd copy paste it, sounds like too much effort otherwise.
