Thanks Joe, just gives me a rough idea on what they are gonna look like when I put them on.

XRated - The rims have a satin polished outter lip with light grey spokes on them. They are 17x8.5" and Im picking them up cheap!!!

Just dont know what size tyre to put on. 235/45/17 all round? 225/45/17 front & 245/40/17 rear? 215/45/17 front & 255/40/17 rear?

any suggestions?

8.5" wide? Very, very nice! As for the tyre size, tough choice. It'd be cool to have fatter ones on the rear, but then you need to replace those separately... They will look tops on your fine beast, anyway!!

215/45/17 wouldnt go past 225 on the front or the pwer steering will stress too much, especially when parking, but the rear wide is good go for it :0)

yes thats good thinking considering I spent $1300 on a brand new pump & rack recently!

Last thing I need is a prematurely worn rack!

Im just not certain about whether or not I want to rotate the rims or just go with fat ass rubber on the rear and not worry about rotating them!

Yeah rotating them is a thought, but really have you HONESTLY ever done it, I would guess no, and replacing two worn front tyres cause of alignment issues (potholes or whatever) is cheaper than 4 cause you rotated them and now they are all worn.

interesting point. I love the fat rear look. But I'll have to look into the extra cost invovled. Im assuming a 245/40/17 is more than likely worth more than a 235/45/17. We'll soon see!
