hey guys,

I'm going dragracing for the 1st time in my coupe!!!

I don't have any idea what sort of time I could expect? what do you think I could get? the coupe runs a 351C with extractors and a 750 vacum holly, with a 4-sp toploader (every thing else is standard)

only reason I ask is because the event I'am going to is a "dial your own time" so i have to guess at how quick it might go.......

do a search for mile calculator and you will find the qtr mile calc tool enter in your cars weight in pounds, rwhp (roughly fwkw) hit calculate and bingo I got 15.4 for my car, we shall have to see.

Lol at the track my car weighs more like 3600 pounds, my best at the night was 16.959. Silly me also had 3/4 tank of gas for the extra weight. What i noticed was that i was abiut .6 slower than my mates commo but my MPH was higher at the end, both of us with auto's and 3.08 open wheeler's. All I can say is fubar to the silly 1st gear ratio and the car didnt run right due to the 1hr or so of stop start in queue, totally messed with my poor ecu.
