1991 Ebii

In my search for a 2nd hand Falcon, I see the odd advert for a 1991 EB Series II.

What the? Thought the series II didn't out until April '92!

EB II is quite highly sought after on the used car market, so that explains why dealers might pretend an EB is an EB II.

I have seen two 1991 EB'2 although they were released in April 92. I once saw at auction a mid 1991 EB2 and the car was infact older then the EB1 it was parked next too.

Yes I know all the differences about the two cars also so I know what I saw.

Possibly modified by somebody?

Do these things have the EBII stamped on the compliance plate or somewhere?

The V8 was introduced with the original EB in '91.

No it does not. V8 came back in EB1 not EB2. A few quick easy picks between EB1 and 2

Mirrors
Cloth trim
original Stereo
plastic colour (light grey on EB2)
base of windscreen (up on EB1, down on EB2)
plastic strips on sides of windscreen on EB2
Door handles
Gear knob small on 4speed autos on EB2

This is just a few of the obvious ones, heaps more where that came from.
