Hi guys,

I'm new here and I've tried doing a search so forgive me if I'm about to ask a stupid question.

Anyway, question is as follows: I've just bought a 1996 EL Falcon GLi which has come with (according to the second and previous owner) a country pack. Is it difficult to remove the bullbar that comes with it and replace the front bar with a new one (sprayed to match of course)? Are there any problems caused by doing this (eg airbag sensor)?

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it - the car is great and I'm enjoying it (my first Ford, just migrated from a 82 Gemini) but the bullbar annoys me a bit (the headlight beams are slightly obstructed by it).

G'day Hunter, I haven't really looked into it but I think it bolts on via the standard bumper bar mounts, so removal is the same as a normal bumper. Not sure on the airbag sensor on removal (my ute doesn't have one) however if you are putting on a new bullbar make sure it is airbag certified.

Cheers mate, looks like I will go ahead and put a new front bar on it (without the bullbar though). Appreciate the help.

Goodaye hunter why are you pulling off the bullbar you can run the things you want to hunt down.
