Just read on GoAuto that they will have a review of the XR8 on the 27th of January, 2 days before Wheels have.

Can't wait to hear their appraisal... surprised that Motor mag hadn't got the scoop with it, and Wheels beat them to it... but of course being a Motor subscriber, I'll receive my issue at about the same time as Wheels is out.

I think the comparison between the XR8 and the SS won't be slanted towards the power - but more how the two compare on the suspension/handling aspect of it. The XR8 will come out on top though.

How about we swap Geoff - you review my efxr8 and I will take the BA for a little test drive! I have a mate that has driven one at city Ford - believes the car is great - but the engine note is nothing like the ute ad! I think is going to very hard pressed to beat the turbo for accolades - I wonder if anyone will complain about the bonnet bulge obstructing the view over the bonnet!. Anyway I'm sure the weekend will be fun! Maybe you could give us a comparison between your turbo and the xr8!!!!!
