I was just wondering what is the widest someone has fitted to the rear of their BA?. Ive just ordered a set of rims for my GT-P in 18x8 on the front and 18x9 on the rear, i was going to put 265x35x18 but was advised that the OD of the 265's are 10mm smaller than the 245's ive got on the front thus affecting my traction control.
this is what combo ive been advised;
245-40-18 front
275-35-18 rear.

be very careful with the 275's, you could find that the tyres rub against the guard dont want that happening with a new set of rubber, check with a dealer because fitting 275's may void warrenty, and check with your insurance company that 275's are okay.

Im getting OM18's made from Simmons in 18x8 and 18x9. on the subject of warentee all they could knock back would be rear wheel bearings as this is the only direct thing that could in the long term suffer, But im willing to wear that for a HOT car.

After sorting out the room under the rear fender, you might also consider upping the size of your rear anti-roll bars to prevent possible tendancy to understeer due to more grip available at the back...

But do let us know how it looks and works (eg improved launch!).
