If you can find one a the wreckers it'll fit in, thay are the same block as the one you've got, There are some guys on the forum that have strokers in there cars & had great results, there some good stroker kits out there.

Like Gambit said, just build your own stroker its the same block as your XR8.
Use a stud girdle on your block as the old windsors are pretty weak.

I have seen 2 of these over the past 6 months at the Ford Wreckers at Narellan in NSW. One was in a TS50 and the other a Pursuit Ute (both had some SERIOUS accident damage!!!). The guy was asking $8000 with gearbox (would not seperate them) - and they sold very quickly......
yeah as said before, the 5.6blobk is the same as the 5 only stroked, so you may as well go a stroker kit. But if you want to keep it factory ford gear, just scour the wreckers.
As others have said, just stroke your current 5ltr. There's plenty of good stroker kits available. Go to aufalcon.com and in the video section there's a clip of how the 5.6 was put together, very interesting clip. Here's a link, http://aufalcon.com/AUVideos.htm, scroll down the page and click on "Making of the 5.6L V8 engine."
