Some prick just snapped my car aerial at the base when it was parked down at the local shopping centre carpark. I'm not very happy!!!. Anyway I'm just wondering do i need to get a ford one and pay top dollar or can i just pick one up from supercheap auto. How do you replace them, do you have to take the cowling off under the wheel arch to access it?
Just pick up one from supercheap to suit your car. You have to remove the fender lining from under the wheel arch. Undo the retaining nut on top of the antenna base, and from memory there is one retaining screw inside the guard as well. Remember you have to take the radio out and remove the antenna plug first.
Yeah, just take the front left wheel off (better access) and remove the little plastic guard. Then just go with the flow, it's pretty straight forward.
This is a bit OT, but JJJ did you get the ISC?
