Does anybody here live in or near Caboolture or Morayfield in Brisbane? there is a place there call Garrie Byrne Afordable Spares that has screwed me out of $325. Dodgy f**k took my money and didnt send my item.

I reported him to consumer affairs so i'll get my money back. Does anybody on here know him, purchased anything off him, also got screwed by him or has a valid phone number which i can reach him with?

well, as you all know, i am still looking for a black XC centre console. As there are none here in SA e went to the post office and got a whole pile of numbers ofwreckers and spare parts places all over australia. I found this guy who said he had a mint condition one that he pulled out of an XC about ten years ago. We agreed on $325 and i wired him the money. He was a proper licensed business so i didnt think twice about it.

A week passed. I still hadnt recicved shite so i gave him a call. "Yeah i actually just sent it yesterday, hadnt had time...its on its way, bloke"

So i waited another week and thought "this is bulls**t, it should be here by now." So i called up the courier service and they sed they didnt have any parcels from a Garrie Byrne in Caboolture going anyweher to adelaide.

So now the dodgy prick is not answering his phone.

So i reported him to consumer affairs. At least i'll get my money back (kept all my receipts for the money transfer).

anyone that calls you 'bloke' i wouldnt be dealing with. that is one thing i really hate is people that think they are so much better than you and have to call you 'bloke' because they dont have any respect for you.
call me bloke and youll have a fat eye and a broken nose.

There is one on E-Bay at the moment starting at $100.00, it is the XB style. There was a good one at a swap meet on Sunday for $50.00 but I passed on it as I already have two spares.

would you be willing to part with one of your spares perhaps? providing its an XC console not an XB as they have different pebbling on them...
