biggrin air filter freddo!

hey guys

just completed the xh snorkel mod to my ebII!

one of the best mods i have done to the falcon so far - the car is so much smoother through the gears and mid throttle response is noticeably better (thanks to all who posted threads and replys about this topic!)

i also replaced my air filter at the same time, and to my ammusement when i removed the lid a bloody freddo frog wrapper had been sucked in the old snorkel at some stage and was residing in the old air filter!!

at least now i can now put all my lost showdowns and performance lags to a bloody frog! :-)

what i want to know is if anyone else had a similar experience!?

cheers acey

Re: air filter freddo!

The performance you noticed was from changing the dirty air cleaner not from the XH snorkel. A guy last year did flow tests with the original snorkel and the xh and their was no difference, it may look better but it was your new air cleaner that gave you better response.
