Another BA problem

For those here who own a new BA, can you hear the wind hitting the front windscreen when your doin about 100 kms an hour?

I dunno if its a problem of if its because the car is so quiet.

do you mean when there is a cross wind or something? One of the main windnoise problems with the AU was the rubber seal above the windscreen used to whistle at about 100km/h we deleted it on BA. The doors how they hang past the front of the windscreen is probably what your hearing. Tape the doors shut on the windscreen all the way up to make the area flat and see if the noise goes away. We do fun stuff like that at work. I found a fault with the first prototype bonnet protectors that they may not have fixed. take it off and go for another drive. Let me know if you find it to be the bonnet protector as I maybe able to get it sorted for you!

Thanks VERY much Harasn.

I thought it must have been the front doors how they sorta rap around the windscreen, that gap seems to catch the wind.

Ill try the bonnet protector, but i think ford should have changed the door config around the windscreen.

doors are the most expensive part to redesign I have heard. You should here the noise that area makes at 230km/h+ with a side wind. Laminge will find out soon enough. Let me know if the bonnet protector is the cause!!! Nice cars to drive aren't they. I will be without mine tomorrow as it goes for the 3000km service and warranty stuff. how many you done on yours?
