AU Merc?

I have seen a few of these driving around over the past week. (I am on holidays. I dont think they have these in Oz, yet)

Couldnt help but notice how much the arse end looks like an AU even more so from street level, without the huge panel gaps that make ithe boot look like is not shut. What do you reckon?

Re: AU Merc?

your not wrong. I was following one today and I thought the back of it was very much like an AU, right down to the curve in the boot.

They look a lot nicer in the flesh, and there bloody big.

Re: AU Merc?

I've seen one in Sydney about a week ago with BBS rims. I don't think the pictures do it justice it looks great on the road. I pulled up to the left lane a couple of times at the lights to get a better look at it and each time it let me in front.

Re: AU Merc?

I dont mind it. Its not the new S class though, its different. Its called CLS. I dont think they have them in Australia yet, not that I would see one driving around where I live if they did.

There is a rear shot (silver) in the gallery that shows how much this model actually looks like an AU! Its the AMG model with 4 bitchin exhaust pipes out the back.
Actually, none of those pics do the car justice. The swoopy shape looks awesome on the road.
