the Vacuum solonid is behind the washe bottle. The EA body work has the holes for it allready there.

the cruise vacum pump gues behind the washer bottle on EA-ED.

the actuator goes on the opposite side, next to the brake booster.

mongrelEB i talked to an ac specialist the other day, he said that i should fit the motor and compressor and then take the car to him, and he can just bend up some pipes and braze on the proper fitting for the compressor pipes.

the EB and AU setups are very very different, but they both do the same thing...so by just using the EB pipes and putting a new fitting on the end for the compressor it should all be sweet.

It's just that the other (EB many-rib) compressor can usually be swapped for, i.e. no cost.
