AU Series ll 4.0L BTR 93LE 4 Speed Auto Transmission

Hello Members

I have owned a few Falcons over the years XC, XF, EB Series ll and at present an AU Series ll 4.0L Sedan.

I also have rebuilt my own transmissions C4, BW35 Escort Mk 1, BW 40 and years ago Allison 6000 Series and a few Trimatics. I have never had any trouble with the transmissions I have rebuilt.

I have never touched a BTR 93LE, however, because I haven't needed to.

Now my BTR 93LE AU Series ll is playing up. No REVERSE.

From my research, it is probably C3 Clutch.

Has anyone rebuilt one of these ? Dumb question, of Course you have.

Any suggestions Please ?

QUESTIONS

1. Also, there is no Line Pressure tapping on the transmission casing, has anyone modified the transmission casing so as to have an external Line Pressure tapping.

I would have been given the DCM at Detroits for not having a Line Pressure Gauge on the transmission on start up after rebuild. Allision HT 750 Transmission.

2. Has anyone modified the transmission casing so as to have external Front and Rear Band adjustments, instead of the internal adjustment.

HELP Please.
