au xr8 200 an 220

i lost my other post (new at this) does the auxr8 220 have the 220 marked on the eng cover?apparently the 220 started as of 6/2001 onwards no exceptions? i have found a 8/2001 that doesnt have the 220 marked on the cover an the boot is debadged so that cant help me either, i'm assuming the two engines look identical?, as far as i know the 200 had the tickford wings on the throttle body?(please corect me if i'm wrong) an the tag on the drivers side rocker cover?

Re: au xr8 200 an 220

Hard to tell if the badge is gone, i know the 220 has different heads, cam, throttlebody size, ECU, to the 200.
I have a OCT2000 XR8, its a little coarse, i have driven a 220 and they like to rev, sound sweeter and go harder than the 200, ford did a lot of head work to make the windsor breathe better.

Go see ford dealer with your VIN number, they will know for sure
