is there such a thing? there is one for sale up here in toowoomba and it is being advertised as a special build with performance vaule springs, leather interior, 5speed and bodykit.

they want 39 - which i think it a heap but that is just me.

Such a car does exist. However, I'm pretty sure that there weren't any mechanical changes (from the AU3 XR6 VCT). The ST came with the 18" Wheels, leather interior (not sure about MOMO steering wheel) and full body kit.

That's pretty much it.

it was a xr6 version of the rebel in au3 series...

^^^ In other words with the rebel kit, they had leather, momo gear knob (man/auto) and steering wheel.

39 sounds a bit steep though, maybe early 30's.

They were also identifyed by the little ST sticker on the rear door's just under the side strip,as well as what other's have said above,I have only ever seen this ST version in Blueprint and Silver as well.

They are a pretty rare car, only something like 156 odd XR6ST's were made.

I've only ever seen 2 - one Blueprint go flying past a roundabout and a Venom Red one.

They were worth about $45,000 brand new.

The AU Series III XR6 ST model was a limited volume XR (125 units) during the last couple of months of AU runout leading into BA.

It was a standard XR6 VCT with sports IRS plus they got the 18 inch Azzurro's (ex the T3 cars), leather interior, Momo wheel and gearknob, full bodykit, decals and floormats for "no extra cost".

They were only available in Blueprint, Silhouette (black), Liquid Silver or Venom (red).

The RRP of the manual was $42,730.

Correct and probably worth a little bit more than a standard XR6, but maybe not 39G's more!!!
