Recently, my steering wheel controls on my AUII-SR stopped working including the horn!!! also... the SRS (Airbag) light is lit.... I have inferred from this that my Steering wheel electrics are dead... has anyone else encountered this before and if so... how hard/expensive was it to fix?
Sounds like the clock spring is broken(electrics transfer device under st.wheel)
Easy job if your mech. experienced otherwise send it a w/shop
If ford are too expensive try a Repco w/shop
Parts about $150 + 1 hour????
