I wanna find out because Im seriously thinking about setting up the white ea I have to put it in this. Hopefully they are still on after new year because this is probably when Id beable to do it.
What things would I need to do t set it up to rip a massive smoker?
Id thought about getting a stuffed clutch fan - one thats locked solid as it will move far more air than a couple of thermos ever will. Get a brand new radiator (will need one for when I put the car on the road again). Remove the thermostat.
All of this is to try to keep the engine from overheating and to last a few minutes of tyre frying.
I have a 3.23 sinngle spinner that I want to put a spool in which shouldnt be too expensive. The 5 speed is in prety good condition compared to some of the 5 peed cars ve driven. Seems nice and tight and has no wines etc.
I'd also kink or somehow stop the rear brakes from working. Anyone have any good ideas for this?
Last of al Id plaster ' eafalcon.com ' down the side gve the club a bit of publicity haha
Sounds like a whole lot of fun. Rig up a line locker to isolate the rear brakes, or just clamp the rear soft brake lines. A locked clutch fan sounds like a good idea actualy, as would filling the car with new coolant the morning before the burnout.
Dont turn teh car off if you overheat it if you want it to ever run again.
Dump the pipes straight out of the headders.
Have a few mates to throw a few buckets of water on your radiator (not head) after the burnout.
Use some dodgy 205 15's and go hard :)

The idea of the spool was cheapness. From what I hear one an be had for under $200
And yeah its pretty hard to spin 4th, Tried it thw other day on dry grass in the EB. 3rd no problem, 4th just a slip clutch.
If you want to get the wheels spinning in 3rd or 4th, hook some water squirters to the wheel well, you can mount these from the boot and hide the plumbing. Use auxillery button/switch for this.
The fan will use power, buy some cheap fans off a Laser to keep it cool, if you can put in a bigger radiator or modify the tank to hold more and remove the thermostat.
Tyres - use lower profile than standard but no wider, either the 14" or 15" off a telstar, If you need 4 low profile 14" let me know ASAP. I heard that for effect to soak the tyres in old engine oil, but I never needed too.
