Re: BA carbon fibre bonnet & more...

I love the look of that white car!

I would certainly be interested in the bonnet depending on price.

What about some interior panels? Like one to replace that crappy plastic dash centre in the BA! I'd buy one of those in carbon fibre in a second! SSS Auto and manual shifters to match!

That's the one. Actually looked better with the full unpainted bonnet.
Also in regard to legality, the CF bonnet would actually be better as it would perform like the plastic bonnets on other cars. That is, it will actually absorb and cushion any impact from a person.

Re: BA carbon fibre bonnet & more...

I saw these bonnets on E Bay for about $950 ( no bids ). If it wasn't so damn expensive...I reckon unpainted on my silhouette XR6 would be ok. I'd prefer no bulge ( and cheaper! ) but none the less I think it'd be ok.

Try $1340 for the OEM price of the primed Boss bonnet from Ford and then you'll know expensive!

The white car has one of the bonnets I'm talking about - 2 were shipped down to them when they were first made.

Re: BA carbon fibre bonnet & more...

I think the flames are actually vinyl sticker(s) rather than paint.

Re: BA carbon fibre bonnet & more...

Anyone interested in getting a BA bonnet bulge on an AU XR bonnet?

Just thought I'd ask!
