G,day I have a 2003 BA xt
The climate control will only distribute air to the windscreen, The LCD screen will display what ever you choose but air keeps on going to the windscreen.

I have checked all the fuses I can fund, the battery and everything else electrical and all is ok, pollen filter is ok to.

The car has 160 000 gravel road Km on clock so is well used, I want some idea of what else to check or what is wrong before I pull the dash out.

Thanks

Auto or manual climate control?

In any event, without a WDS scan tool and a factory manual you are a bit limited but try these steps from the workshop manual.

Remove the Glove Box.
Using a mirror and a torch view the lever area between the HIM and
the HVAC to see if the HIM BLUE and GREEN lever pins are slotted into the HVAC lever cams. If not remove the instrument panel. Were the HIM lever pins slotted into the HVAC lever cams? If not remove and Install the HIM ensuring that HIM levers and HVAC cams are connected.

Remove the Glove box.
Ensure that the plastic rod retainer clip is in

Locate and follow the Rod with your hand from the HIM all the way to No
the Floor door lever. Is the rod connected to the Floor door lever? If not Reconnect rod into the Floor door lever and secure with the retaining clip.

If not using a flat blade screwdriver, gently move / connected to the HIM BLACK lever pin, prise the HIM lever pin into the recirc door cam.

From under the Drivers side, view the Driver’s actuator shaft in
between the airmix actuator and the HVAC, for movement changing the temperature from Hot to Cold using the ICC button. i.e did the shaft turn when Hot to Cold selected?
Set the ICC to face mode. Insert your hand through the ICC opening and try turning the temperature door shaft. If so its a broken shaft, and replace the HVAC Door Module.
