Question BA Driving Lights

Anyone fitted the Ford driving lights to their BA XT (Fairmont Ghia type)?? If so how much are they and are they easy to fit??

Can they still be used as driving lights or are they only used as cornering lights??

Thanks

Re: BA Driving Lights

Only Cornering lights, unless you find a set of illegal ones. I dont think they really care as plenty of cars still wear the original ones...

There are a set of the driving lights on ebay..

Re: BA Driving Lights

The originals were only fog lights any way (I think 5W globes). What is the height of the lower grille opening?

Re: BA Driving Lights

all comes down to how u wire em.
As said above the original 'decretive lamps' were 5watt.
the cornering lamps are 15watt, but by no means bright.

They're dead easy to install

Re: BA Driving Lights

I am going to try and get them trade price through a contact. I thought the 299 a side was crap, maybe 299 for the set but that is still too much!!
