Yeah, the caprice is being flogged heaps on tv, I guess to get exposure to the statesmen which is the cheapest and will be sold the most! Great ad that is, lets see Ford match it with an even better one!

I actually thought the Stateman ad was silly. As if James bond would be driving a LWB sedan. I think he is more associated with luxury sports cars. The statesman used wasn't even 'getaway car' looking i.e. black, tint etc like a true movie-style limo.

Don't get me wrong, I think Holden's advertising in many cases has been very good, however I think this one 'overstates' the mark.

The new HSV ad was on last night too, part of their new advertising campaign..."It is your time" or something along those lines

Was it a Statesman advert (g), I was more interested in the backround scenery, pretty awesome looking country-side.
