Ba Fairmont Ghia Foglamps

Why arent the BA Fairmont Ghia Foglamps available on the BA's anymore. Ive ordered a Futura with them on the order and no one has contacted me about them.

It could have something to do with the Drive.com.au article about the use of Fog lamps and not being legal to use during the day (in some states) I think maybe Ford have removed them just in case?? (IMO)

I believe drive.com.au kicked up a fuss about them a while back for some bs reason, think it was in regards to the lights not having a separate switch or something and as a result were on whenever the headlights were on.... My understanding was that these lights were not 'foglamps' as such anyway and were not bright enough to cause any problems with oncoming traffic...
