Just spraying the seats with leather treatment when I noticed parts of the seats and centre console probably aren't leather...

Namely, the lower-outer sections of the seats (the bits you don't sit or lean on) and centre console lid.

Is this correct? I wouldn't want to put the wrong treatment there...

if it is a vinyl / rubber / plastic section then the leather treatment should be fine to use or if it is a suede style leather ,then it would be better to use a scotchgard style of fabric treatment or you can buy spray cans of a pruduct to protect/ water proof leather shoes. it should work fine on your seats as well.

I belive leather is only on the actually seating area. Most leather couches and seats in cars use vinyl on the unimportant parts.

Certainly the non seated area feels like Vinyl.

I'll make sure to use the right product on the right part.

Mate like i said previous thread any leather conditioner will be fine on everything ie; doortrims and rear of front seats dash trim and arm rest..
