Ok well im getting my BA on friday, what sorta phone/ phone kit would be the best to put in it. I would like to know what other people have in their cars and what they are like?
Thanks very much
what do u mean mate! doesn't the car kit depend on what type of phone you have? All i have to say is if i was to get a car kit it would have to be a genuine car kit made by the company that makes the phone. i have a nokia but befor i go spending money on a car kit, i would have to make sure i would be keeping my phone for awile. But i think i might upgrade my phone to a sony ericson that has blue tooth, this means i can have a cordless head set. no need for a car kit, you just have a small earpeice...
XR6MAN I just got myself an 8210/8250 portable car kit that has mic and speakers and these plug directly into your ciggie lighter. Works really well. Cost me about $99. Its a Nokia product. You can get similar contraptions for other phones too. Ask around. If you want a permanent one u'll be paying a bit for them but hey if its a company car I don't think it matters :)
Ford4Eva ive allready got one of those car kits, the geniune one but i want one that mutes the radio. So im thinking of going for a 6310i, apparetnly they have the best carkit.
XR6MAN, if you stick to nokia kits then its sweet whatever kits you get. Are you fitting it yourself?
Make sure you get the cable that connects the mobile to your computer as well so you can upload the FORD images onto your phone...I've got one, sad isn't it? hehehehe.
Yeah i downloaded the ford logo for my last car, but when i changed phones last time it stuffed up. I always get the car kits installed proffesionally as i dont wanna stuff anything up. Do you think an aerial would stuff the look of a BA if i got one put on the back windscreen, or should i go aerial-less!

Yeah, same here. works really well, and if need be, you can take it out and put it in another car quickly. Just a spot of velcro for the mic and you're set
