confused ba falcon starting problem

hey i got a 2003 ba futura with just under 110000 kms

it has a problem starting wen warm ( takes about 5 to 8 seconds to start )

the car runs great no problems at all. even had it dyno tuned and it pulled 134kw's with out any sign of problems

i have been 2 serval mechs and ford several times and no1 has been able to fix it.

but another thing is if u turn the car off fill up with petrol than jump back in it wont do it

but if u leave it for longer it will

help me plz lol

yeah I get the same thing. dunno I think might change spark plugs with something better spec.

G'day,
if the car is hot and you shut it down, will it restart straight away...this is opposed to letting it stand for some time?

Another thing, after it has stood a few minutes, open the tank and see how much pressure is released....It may be holding too much pressure and relieving through the injectors.

Another issue could be fuel vaporisation in the injector rail due to heat. this is VERY common. When you start hot, try turning the ignition to ON for 3-5 seconds before engaging start. If this stops it, then vapourisation is your issue.
