i want to put a ba front on an Au falcon. How much drama will this be?? I can get panels, lights etc cheap but I don't want to get in over my head. Any thoughts????

i've thought the same thing but the gonad i know with the BA wont let me throw a tape over it for a rough idea, let alone trial fit his bonnet etc..Let us know how you go

i know the ba front fits straight on but wiper mounts, washers, aerial etc can be major downers. I can get a panel shop nearby to do it ( he has done it to an au ute) but the $$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!

doing it to a ute is fine..looks wise..but to a sedan would be weird without doing the back. Atleast you will be different :)

I heard Pulse Autostyling are doing a BA front conversion on an EB wagon or something like that, don't know if it's BS or not but you could give them a call.

it is for an au wagon. the wagon bums are same. These wagons are so cheap. Series one ex taxi 4500 with rego and rwc(reco engine and box). Maybe an xr8 front, maybe fairmont?? just a cheap economical (lpg and petrol) car with abs for da wife and keeps up with da jonses in looks (if u don't look too hard!)

There is a place in vic that does them pretty cheap like around $2-3000. Its first page in parts pedler normally everytime, i will have a look later. Does anyone know this place?

The V8 Brutes have this conversion so it obviously can be done. How easy, well that is a whole new question.

think about all those VKs and VLs with VP/VR HSV kits on them and think about how stupid they look.

if you want a BA, buy one. grafting a BA front onto an AU will look crap... and I have no problems with visualisation. you're not just talking front bumper. you'll need the front quarter panels, lights... it'll look dumb without the BA rear on there... the curvier AU roof line won't go with the BA front.... etc etc.
