Is it possible to get the compatable plugs to plug into the mobile phone wiring under the dash? The main plug that I want to use is the 4 pin power plug.
I would rather used the correct plug rather than just pushing spade connectors in there or cutting off the plug etc.
What is everyone else using when connecting to this plug?
I want to connect power for my "soon to be" Blaupunkt DVD player/Interface.

I found the correct plugs at AutoBarn.
They are made by Narva, Part Number: 56274BL, it is a perfect fit!

Almost all the pros use the simple spade connector method. There's little advantage doing it any other way. Ford also sell the connector if you want to pay heaps of bucks.

I removed a nokia phone kit from an AU that was dealer fitted, so it has all the ford wiring that you get when you order a factory phone kit. I have been told by the accesory fitter at the local dealer that you only need to change one wire in the plug for it to work on a BA. A lot of dealers remove phone kits out of used cars before they sell them, check around you never know what you will find.
My kit was for an old 5110 nokia, which fits the new nokia cdma phone, just change the aerial

Any chance of some details on that Blaupunkt system mate, like price and what ya' get for the $'s. I've tried to get info on this from their website but not much luck.
