Guys,
Ok so now we have seen the BA price raise as of Feb 1st
Considering a heap of us ordered cars way back in November / December I think it is a bit ritch to expect us to pay the increase just because Ford could not deliver. Has anyone managed to get their car without the price raise post Feb 1??? Any tips..
Mine is not due till mid March..
Anyone from Ford listening. Please help!
If the build is pre Feb, tell the dealer to get stuffed. If built after Feb, use the argument that your car was ordered before the price increase. The dealer may be able to claim the price difference back from Ford and deliver your car at January pricing.
Richo,
Hmm.. The car will definately be a March build. It is scheduled to be built in the first week. I will talk to the dealer and see what I can do. In past conversations it comes down to the price Ford charge them when it is wholesaled to them. I guess I am looking at Ford themselves honoring the price as at the time I ordered as the Dealer tells me they have no choice but to pass on the price they are charged from Ford. I already have a great Fleet price so I guess there is not much room the deler can move as his margin is allready crap..
