I have been ringing around in Brissy for a ba rental but have had no luck. Just magnas and holdens.

Anyone know who hires them?

Hertz are owned by Ford so are most likely converting to BA at the moment.

There were heaps of new falcons at the Hire company at the domestic airport. Don't know who it was, maybe Thrifty or Hertz.

fords at full production right now arent they? Wouldnt ford satisfy the needs indivduals before fufilling the need to companies such as hertz etc?

A lot of the older models go to the rental companies real cheap - I found that out when I have one of them give me a Fairmont for 6 weeks instaed of a Falcon - at Falcon prices.

National aka Delta also have Fords, I had an AU when I was in Australia last April.
