Re: BA Series 2 ?
Although Holden will be launching their series 2 models towards the end of this year, the series 2 BA is not due until the beginning of 2004 at the earliest. My bet is March for the mainstream models and June for the FPV GT/GTP. LWB maybe even longer.
As for upgrades to the XR8, I wouldn't expect much to change. Gear ratios and a little wait loss is all I would expect at best with some now optional features made standard as past history dictates. It will be the turbo with a new manual box that has the most to gain, but expect the cost to rise according.
If you’re ready the buy now and can afford some Herrod style enhancements, then you will not be too disappointed when series 2 comes out IMO.
